Forgive me, GLUs, for I have sinned.
It’s been 80-ish days since my last letter.
I loathe excuses, so I won’t blame it on the fact that I have moved twice, tried to build muscle, started a podcast, finished writing Graveyard Girls, began writing State of the Reunion, hosted my Book Clubers, hosted my Rummicubers, applied for U.S. citizenship, took one son back to college, nagged the other son to get off his ass and start applying, edited application essays for kids who have gotten off their asses, got my roots done (a few times), mentored a young writer, and worked part-time at Summer Snow. Instead, I will share the game-changing revelation I had along the way—one that includes the opening paragraphs of my first Dylan chapter.
