Hey GLUs! Welcome back to FAN FICTION FRIDAY. This week, Lisi dropped her son off at UC Boulder, so we’ve got college on the brain. What do you think the Pretty Committee did after high school graduation?
And more importantly, what did they pack???

This Week’s Prompt: First Semester at College.
The Pretty Committee had the summer of their lives after graduating from OCD. But now, it’s time for them to part ways and move on to the next phase of life.
Your mission: In under 500 words, set the scene for your favorite member of TPC (or ALL if you’re up to the task). Where did she go to college? What was her major? How did she get along with her roommate? And most importantly, what in gawd’s name was on her packing list?
**For the purists: if you choose to write about Massie, remember, she graduated from a high school in London.
Guidelines for Your Scene:
Choose your POV character (Massie, Claire, Alicia, Dylan, or Kristen)
Set the scene (University of choice, dorm room, frat party, lecture hall)
Include at least one callback to their OCD days (inside jokes, old rivalries, shared memories, packing list)
Some Inspiration to Get You Started:
Is Massie at an Ivy League University? Or did she go the Fashion School route?
Are Kuh-laire and Cam at college together? Did she end up at a small liberal arts school? Or did she abandon school to go to Hollywood to relive her “Dial L for Loser” days?
Is Alicia still dancing, or is she studying pre-law to please her father?
Is Kristen playing D1 soccer on scholarship?
Did Dylan take an alternative route? Culinary school, beauty school? Or is she studying journalism to follow in her mother’s footsteps?

So I’m not going to write a scene (so sorry) but I do want to predict what each PC member did after high school - just college!!
Massie - She definitely had her sights set on an Ivy, but it didn’t seem like she kept up with grades that much, and even with the pull of her dad, chose to go to college overseas. What’s more chic than college in Paris and summers in the Hamptons? She majored in fashion merchandising and business and was cut throat, gaining internships at top fashion houses, not paying attention to boys or outside noise. She aimed to be the best, and she was.
Claire - Her mind was pulling her to Florida but her heart was keeping her in the Northeast (Cam, ahbviously). She wanted a big college experience and aimed for a state school. She attended University of North Carolina (she felt it was the best of both worlds) and majored in mass communications and minoring in theater, missing Hollywood just a little bit.
Alicia - Her true alpha shined in college. Her dream of becoming a famous anchorwoman was going to come true with the help of a top journalism school in the country - Columbia. Prestigious, New York, Ivy, and close to many a dance school to join in. She craved more leadership and joined a sorority, eventually running recruitment and becoming president (making Massie scoff at people who “pay for their friends).
Kristen - You didn’t think she’d go to college without a scholarship did you? She attended Penn State with a full ride for academics and athletics. She played on the soccer team and absolutely dominated (on the field and off). She thrived being in her own element without someone telling her what to do 24/7. She studied biology - not quite sure what kind of doctor she wanted to be.
Dylan - West coast, best coast (to Dylan, not to anyone else). Dylan was born for LA and attended UCLA. She was a gen ed major, but documented all of her life on social media, eventually winning the hearts of hundreds of thousands (and thanks to plugs by her mother), left college to be a full time influencer. People loved her charm, realness, outfits for “average sized” girls, recipes, travels. Was Massie jealous? Maybe! Dylan’s hair doesn’t care.

Alicia definitely is heading to school in New York. She's majoring in broadcasting with a minor in legal studies to keep her dad off her back. She's living in a very cute off-campus apartment, a pied-à-terre, which her father insisted on. She immediately joins a dance studio nearby. She is killing it socially; everyone loves her. Best part, the little mean 7th grade leesh totally died. People like her because she's quite nice. However, they respect her because she's sharp when needed. Also a highly skilled dancer in ballet and contemporary.
