Hollywood’s tough. Sure. But Kuh-laire’s contract negotiations are breezy compared to the deal Layne is trying to strike with the Pretty Committee. The terms: Layne will give them the key to Skye’s secret eighth-grade room, if—and only if—Claire is allowed back in the clique, Massie and TPC stop making fun of her, and she can attend one sleepover a month.

(Perhaps future Layne could bring peace to the Middle East.)

Desperate to return to her unglamorous life, Claire consciously uncouples from show business (and her tragic black hair) and commits to Westchester. Sorry, Hollywood. You just weren’t dramatic enough. Consider taking notes from Derrington because that guy knows how to romance a leading lady. After being iced by Massie because his dirty bedroom gave her the ick, he cleaned up his act (and his crusty underwear) and won her back.

At the end of this epic saga, Skye blindfolds the Pretty Committee and takes them to the secret room. When the blindfolds come off, they are stunned, while you, sweet GLUs, must dangle on the edge of Cliff Harrison, until all will be revealed in Sealed with a Diss.

1. Is anyone surprised that Layne wants to be in TPC? I mean, does she really? Or is she just trying to piss them off? Either way, gawd bless her.
