I really hope lisi & ellen bring back Derrington & cam. Maybe him & massie run into each other like at a party or something & maybe claire is still with cam ❤︎︎ IDK I'm not a writer,
Obviously.lol but If lisi & Ellen could come up with a way to add Derrington & cam into the new book I would be so happy!!
I think that lane wants to join TPC , so she isn't the subject of their like jabs and really mean the jokes she figures joining them.It ensures that she's not being made fun of if the demand doesn't work
1. I think Layne likes the power she holds over Massie, even though (especially?) it's only for a short time. And Layne has another advantage because Massie is generally annoyed by whatever she does.
My favorite scene in this book is Layne's negotiation with TPC. The wig, the British accent, Alicia channeling her inner lawyer - iconic!
I think Layne is honestly just having fun. She doesn't really care about being in TPC for status purposes, but she has all the power, so why not use it to her advantage? Also, she gets more Claire time, which is a plus! She's always having to battle Massie for time with her best friend.
Who wouldn't want to be part of the TPC? I think Layne is just interested in seeing the inner workings of TPC and she's just curious. I also think she gets a kick out of embarrassing them (it's hilarious).
